Private Lessons

Have a preschooler or younger child? Not sure if s/he is ready for piano lessons? I use different materials for preschoolers, including Piano Safari, Tales of a Musical Journey, Piano Pronto, and Wunderkeys.
Whether this is your first experience with piano lessons, or whether you are continuing on from previous training, beginning lessons with a new teacher is exciting and challenging. Along the way, my aim is for students to gain independence and a love for the art. I adapt the course of materials for each student's goals and strengths and incorporate healthy technique, written and aural theory, and a variety of methods and repertoire into lesson curriculum. Students have opportunities to perform in studio recitals as well as local formal events. A triangle relationship amongst teacher - student - parent sets students up for the most success! Lessons are
• weekly one-on-one
• 30 minutes for beginners age 7 and younger
• 45 or 55 minutes for intermediate and advanced students age 8 +
Tuition is charged as a flat monthly rate due over the course of each school year dependent on the length of lesson.
Costs for materials and recitals are included in monthly tuition. Rates will be provided once we get in touch.
